This high-energy, high-fat feed ingredient is a carefully formulated blend of candy (chocolates, sugars, granolas), bakery byproducts (cereals, breads, pastries, cookies), grain by-products, and other food residuals (e.g., chips, pasta). Designed as a consistent alternative to corn, cottonseed, or molasses, it has been shown to support excellent performance in beef cattle, dairy herds, and swine operations.*

What is the difference between AmpliSource Edge™ and Max™?

Both Edge™ and Max™ are high-energy candymeal feed blends made from food manufacturing byproducts, but they differ in nutritional profile and storage requirements. Edge™ requires shed or bunker storage.

Max™ can be stored in a bunker or a bin, offering more flexibility.

Max™ is also the product AmpliSource recommends as a direct alternative to ground corn, delivering a higher protein level and a broader range of nutrients. Natural cattle feeding programs have accepted Max™ into their programs. Your AmpliSource representative can help you determine which product fits your operation best.

AmpliSource Edge™ requires shed or bunker storage to maintain quality. AmpliSource Max™ offers more flexibility and can be stored in either a bunker or a bin. Both products have a common shelf life of approximately two months when stored appropriately. AmpliSource can advise on best practices for your specific storage setup.

We sell the product in bulk. We can arrange trucking, or you are welcome to bring your own truck/trailer. Our products can also be purchased through a number of feed mills and distribution partners (please call us for info).

It is approximately 90% dry (so it is not sticky) and is the texture of sawdust. We adjust the formula throughout the year to keep it dry and flowable.
